Ever since Windows 8 introduced store apps, users have been able to install “classic” software applications alongside lightweight mobile-like applications.<\/p>
For some reason, however, Microsoft hasn’t made it so simple to create a desktop shortcuts to these often useful applications.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
While Windows does allow you to right click any app from the start menu and either pin it to the taskbar or the start menu itself, it only lets you create desktop shortcuts to non-windows store applications (by clicking more -> open file location).<\/p>
